Outdoor Furniture

I've been asked to do a little research on outdoor furniture. Here's some suggestions for places to take a look...

For vintage/antique furniture in NYC (expensive) - a great resource is Treillage (http://www.treillageonline.com/). They tend to have some beautiful things and rare finds.

For example:

I think Stamford antique stores are a great resource as well.

Antiques & Artisan Center (http://www.stamfordantiques.com/)

I found these great items...

Set of four vintage metal arm chairs

Antique Cafe Table

Antique stone planters

A suggestion for seating...

I used these outdoor cafe chairs for my last installation in Harbour Island and they are so sturdy and comfortable. They come in a multitude of colors and they are an unbeatable $99 each.

Cafe Chair

Here are some random outdoor pieces that I quite like in particular:

I think these settees are quite beautiful:

Chippendale bench

Charleston Gardens Bench

Provence Settee

For some hearty teak furniture, I think your best bets are Smith & Hawken (http://www.smithandhawken.com/), Country Casual (http://www.countrycasual.com/) and even Land's End (http://www.landsend.com/). They both give you a great range of fabrics for cushions.
